ATG Broadcast installations are followed by a systematic end-to-end test of the installation together with a full performance test of the delivered equipment before the system is formally commissioned.
Commissioning & Acceptance Testing includes:
Factory Test & Acceptance:
If possible we like to carry out factory testing to demonstrate the system working and to check the configuration.
Site Testing & Configuration:
As systems are installed on site they will be tested and commissioned by ATG Engineers. It is often very useful for customer Engineers to get involved at this stage and assist in the commissioning process, as this is a good way to quickly build up local knowledge of the new systems.
Acceptance Tests
A Site Acceptance Test (SAT) document will be prepared for each operational area or sub system. The SAT covers three main areas:
Installation Standards
An acceptance by the customer that installation has been carried out to professional standards, is fully documented, and that all equipment is fully operational.
Operational Features
Some operational tests will be carried out utilising the facilities provided in each area.
Workflow
Tests will be carried out to show agreed functionality as defined in the PDD document.
