ATG Broadcast announces that it has achieved ISO 9001 certification as part of its ongoing strategy to remain at the forefront of the international systems integration business. Originally launched as British Standard 5750 in the 1970s, ISO 9001 was developed into an ISO standard (BE EN ISO 9001:2008) placing additional emphasis on management processes and customer feedback.
"At ATG Broadcast Ltd we are justifiably proud of our commitment to quality and customer service," responds Managing Director Guy Elliott. "We are therefore very pleased to have received this certification. To ensure recognition and maintenance of our quality standards, we are now registered to BS EN ISO 9001:2008 with BSI Management Systems (UK). The scope of our certificate is: 'The supply of media systems including planning, design, installation and commissioning'."
"ATG Broadcast has achieved a global reputation for technical competence, successful innovation and promptness," Guy adds. "Our quality-management system is based on a set of procedures designed to ensure maximum co-operation between each member of the project team as well as monitoring all key stages in a project. That includes maintaining stringent quality control with appropriate and corrective action where necessary."
ISO 9001 is one of a series of quality management system standards. It can help bring out the best in organisations by enabling them to understand the processes for delivering products/services to customers. ISO 9001 is by far the world’s most established quality framework, currently being used by around 897,000 organisations in 170 countries worldwide, and sets the standard not only for quality-management systems but management systems in general.
